Pak-Rat
Where in the world is Osama bin Laden? Quite a few experts think he might be found in the nation of Pakistan. Is Pakistan our ally? That depends on who you ask. Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama suggested that military action in Pakistan might be an option to root out terrorists. This laid the groundwork for yet another foreign policy flip-flop by the Straight Talker himself.
Flip
When it comes to Pakistan, it originally sounded like Barack Obama was more hawkish than John McCain. McCain criticized Obama for suggesting "bombing our ally, Pakistan."
Flop
Shortly thereafter, McCain decided that Obama was not too hawkish, but, in fact, too willing to go "back to the bad old days of going after terrorists with prosecutors rather than predators."
So one wonders what McCain's proposed course of action with Pakistan would be if the country continues to remain less than completely cooperative.
