Geography 101
John McCain once again has shown his vast knowledge of international relations. Apparently Pakistan now borders Iraq.
McCain's World-View
With Barack Obama's much-publicized international tour grabbing ink and airtime, John McCain has made a point of emphasizing his experience on the world-stage versus Obama's. First rule of pointing out your foreign policy experience? Don't confuse Afghanistan with Iraq.
From a "Good Morning America" interview:
"I think it's serious. . . . It's a serious situation, but there's a lot of things we need to do. We have a lot of work to do and I'm afraid it's a very hard struggle, particularly given the situation on the Iraq/Pakistan border."
Reality
If you didn't immediately catch it, there was a big problem with that statement: Iraq and Pakistan are not bordering nations. It's really not even close. Let's check out the map.

Was he talking about Iraq? Was he talking about Afghanistan? Did he somehow merge the two in his head? The world may never know.
Just remember this one the next time that McCain touts his foreign policy expertise.

so shameful... it's becoming more and more obvious that the entire Middle East region is just basically "not America" to McCain.
I mean, he should have at least hopped on his computer and looked this up beforeha... oh yeah.
