Diplopmacy with WHO? Part II
John McCain will continue to question Barack Obama's plans for diplomacy and international relations. Of course, Senator McCain seems to feel that his statements are off the table. Let's have a little refresher on what he said about Syria.
Flip
Senator McCain noted that diplomacy with Syria was the right course of action. "I think it’s very appropriate that Colin Powell is going to Syria," he said.
But maybe he thought Syria wasn't necessarily an enemy. Nope.
I think [Syria is] sponsoring and harboring terrorists. I think they have been occupying Lebanon, which should be free and independent for a long time, but I don’t think that that means that we will now resort to the military action. We–we can apply a lot of pressure other than military–than the military action. So what I’m saying, we’re a long way away from it.
If I wasn't mistaken, it sounds like he's pressing the case for diplomacy.
Flop
Any number of statements made by John McCain about Barack Obama's lack of experience.
